Euromaxx - Highlights of the Week

The Ball Designer

Since 1970 the German sporting goods company Adidas has been making specific soccer balls for each and every World Cup. At the 2014 tournament in Brazil the new ball is called the Brazuca and we met its inventor - Adidas product manager Jochen Raff.

Bounce Below

The Snowdonia National Park in Wales has a new attraction for underground thrill-seekers: a unique trampoline facility in a former slate mine. It has three nets, suspended at between 5 and 50 meters above the cavern floor.

The Successful Label "Lala Berlin"

Designer Leyla Piedayesh has always gone her own way. Starting in fashion relatively late, her intuitive sense of style and business acumen has created the brand "Lala Berlin". The label celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.

The Swiss Canton of Fribourg

The Swiss Canton of Fribourg We visit the canton of Fribourg in western Switzerland which has two official languages. Of its nearly 300,000 people, two thirds speak French and one third speaks German. We start in the west on Lake Neuchâtel, which is Neuenberger See in German - to see what all there is to do.

Notte Rosa

The Italian resorts on the Adriatic coast open the summer season with a huge beach party. To mark the occasion, the 110 kilometers between Catolica and Comacchio are all in pink.
