Credit cards are a convenient way of paying for many customers - but for businesses, they come at a price. Businesses are currently charged as much as 1.5 percent of the purchase price by credit card companies. Now the European Union plans to cap transaction fees, similar to the limits it imposed on mobile phone roaming rates.
