EU Sanctions against Russia - Orders Slump for Saxony's Manufacturers

If you ask machine tool makers in Saxony about the conflict in Ukraine, they are likely to express their hopes it will end soon. The European Union has ratcheted up sanctions against Russia and that is affecting their bottom line. Russia is a key trading partner for many eastern German companies and has been since the days of the Soviet Union.
