A number of countries, including the US, France, Britain, Italy, Belgium have announced that they will recognise Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence. Six EU member states, however, including Spain, have made clear that they regard the move as illegal. That hasn't stopped the jubilation of the two million ethnic Albanians in Kosovo, celebrating the country's disengagement from Serbia.
