The euro isn't the only currency taking a beating this week. The Pound has hit a five year low against the dollar, after both Bank of England chief Mervyn King and prime minister Gordon Brown admitted Britain is heading for recession. But it's good news of course for travelers with dollars, looking to spend time on this side of the Atlantic.
