Welcome back... The credit crises is also being felt in Germany, as the country's top banks continue to write down risky investments. Interbank lending rates also remain high in Europe indicating banks are slow to lend money to each other. German politicians are also watching the performance of state- controlled regional banks for clues to the health of the domestic banking sector. Many have been losing money as the crises pans out.
