"DW Farsi offers, along with news, which is neutral and objective, articles and picture galleries, which I follow with great interest."

"Many years ago, when I first listened to Deutsche Welle, I enjoyed the broadcaster's neutrality and objectivity. I always listened to the news and reports. Later, when DW started their own online page in Farsi, it was possible for me to click on that and be informed at all times, not just when broadcasts took place. DW Farsi offers, along with news, which is neutral and objective, articles and picture galleries, which I follow with great interest. I would like to thank the journalists and editors at Deutsche Welle for their efforts and congratulate DW on its 60th anniversary."

Shirin Ebadi is an Iranian lawyer, a former judge and a human rights activist. She founded the Defenders of Human Rights Center in Iran. In 2003 Ebadi was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts to promote democracy and improve the situation of women, children and refugees in her home country.
