National Front makes ground in France

Mainstream political parties in France had a wake-up call last Sunday. The far-right National Front won a minor election in the south of the country which could mark a major step forward for the party's national aspirations. Its leader, Marine Le Pen, claims the National Front is now 'France's main party.' DW spoke with Nonna Mayer, Research Director at the National Research Centre in Paris.
