Michael Ballack will not be able to play at the World Cup

Soccer fans are in shock after hearing that Germany captain Michael Ballack will NOT be able to play at this summer's World Cup in South Africa. The German football federation confirmed that Ballack would miss the tournament because of an ankle injury. Ballack is the most experienced player on the German squad.
