Israeli president Shimon Peres addresses the German parliament as part of ceremonies marking Holocaust Memorial Day

Across the border in Germany, the Israeli president gave a speech to the German parliament to mark the occasion. In his address, he called Iran a threat to the world, and vowed that the Jewish people would never again fall victim to a fanatical regime.
