Iran's police chief says authorities will decisively confront further unrest over the disputed presidential vote

We begin in Iran, where the big question is: will the wave of protests triggered by the recent and disputed presidential election continue after further violent clashes on Saturday? Reporting in Iran is restricted, but yesterday's clashes do appear to have led to dozens of people being taking to hospital for medical treatment. Today's newspapers in Iran are carrying a warning from the country's police chief that officers will quote "decisively confront" further unrest. So, the clampdown by police and militia forces looks set to continue.
