Germany - The number of jobless rose slightly here in July

The number of jobless rose slightly here in July. Germany's Federal Labor Agency says there is no cause for alarm, however. They attribute the small increase to company holidays and new high school graduates signing on for new benefits. Government analysts say the so-called "German Jobs Miracle" will continue.
