German Chancellor visits India to strengthen bilateral ties

Angela Merkel has held talks with Indian leaders in New Delhi. Contracts for India's defence and renewable energy sectors were at the top of the agenda. Merkel's arrival this morning was delayed after Iran temporarily withdrew flyover rights for her plane - causing outrage in Berlin.
