Playmobil has been on the market for 40 years now, and the company still sells about a 100 million figurines a year. To celebrate that anniversary the Historisches Museum der Pfalz in Speyer has an exhibition on the toy, and we talked to Playmobil's manufacturer, too - Horst Brandstätter. Many of the figures are produced in Dietenhofen, near Nuremberg in southern Germany.
