A court in China has sentenced two men to death for their role in a tainted milk scandal that has caused public anger across the country. The scandal came to light after traces of the industrial chemical melamine were found in products made by China's biggest supplier of baby milk powder. The chemical had been added to boost the products' apparent protein content. Six infants died and 300-thousand children were taken ill after consuming tainted milk.
