Cameron and Clegg, Britain's leadership duo on day one of their new administration

Britain's new prime minister has wasted no time getting down to business. Conservative leader David Cameron's office has already announced new budget cutting and security initiatives. He is heading up a center right coalition with the Liberal Democrats, whose leader Nick Clegg is deputy prime minister. Among the many challenges facing the new government will be tackling unemployment. The latest jobless figures show the UK rate at its highest level since 1994.
