Twenty years ago, after the collapse of communism throughout Eastern and Central Europe, Yugoslavia was torn apart by a war that pitted former neighbors and friends against one another. Bosnia bore the brunt of the fighting, and ended up being divided into two states, the Bosnian Serb Republic and the Muslim Croat Federation. Our correspondent Frank Hofmann visited members of a family from the northern town of Bo-san-ski Sham-ats. And he encountered brothers and sisters, who, like their native country, were torn asunder by the war...
