Democrats are celebrating a resounding victory for their candidate Barack Obama, who has been elected the first black president of the United States. In his victory speech in Chicago Obama called on all Americans to unite and reclaim the American dream. And he reminded his compatriots that America's true strength lies not in military force or the size of its economy, but in its ideals, which he said were democracy, liberty, opportunity, and hope.
