Banning the burqa in France – one year on

With France still reeling from the killing spree in Toulouse, and with the presidential election campaign in full swing, integration is once again top of the agenda. France has the largest Muslim population in Western Europe, and it's long been a struggle for devout Muslims to integrate into French society. A year ago, the French government introduced a ban on wearing the full veil in public.
