A senior US diplomat has visited Egypt for the first time since the ouster of Islamist President, Mohamed Morsi, almost two weeks ago. Under Secretary of State, William Burns, met interim President, Adli Mansour and called for a transition to a democratically elected civilian government. Meanwhile, thousands of Mursi's supporters again took to the streets, demanding he be returned to office.
