The Tour de Fries is a bicycling route that leads through Frisia, or Friesland as it's called in German, on the North Sea. Wilhelmshaven is a popular starting point. The 250 kilometers covered by the tour can be divided over five or six days. On the way, cyclists pedal through enchanting scenery and historically interesting villages and past a romantic moated palace.
