After selling some five million records, the band quickly became continental Europe‘s most successful girl group. But it all came to an end just three years later when the band split up. No Angels regrouped and pulled off a comeback in 2007, but one year later they suffered a setback by coming in third from last representing Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest. Despite the disappointment, the girls are now hoping their new album will pick up on their earlier success.

The two have since become good friends and often work together. Peter Fox even directed the video to Miss Platnum’s current single, “She moved in”. You’ll get to know the Berlin artist on popXport.

- Ruben Cossani "Alles auf einmal" Album

Ruben Cossani are keeping it cool. The trio from Hamburg have released their second album of sounds from the 1960s.

- Rosenstolz "Ich bin mein Haus" Single

The new Rosenstolz single is limited to five thousand copies. The dics labeled number one will be auctioned on eBay, with the proceeds going to help AIDS prevention.

- Rockformation Diskokugel "Zusammen dagegen" Album

Rockformation Diskokugel were founded in Salford, England, but the group is originally from Germany. "Zusammen dagegen" is their second album.

- Berlin's legendary Tresor Club is braching out to China. The techno temple will first make a two-week debut in Wuhan, followed by a permanent club in the capital Beijing. The new club will be located in an old factory building constructed by the former East Germany. Starting next spring, DJs from Berlin will join their Chinese counterparts in a cultural exchange project supported by Germany's Goethe Institut.

- Samy Deluxe is starring in a five-part TV documentary about rap music in Germany. He travels the country and is joined by a handfull of young people who signed up for the trip on the internet.

-The young people spent two weeks in Sammy's tour bus, living cheek to jowel with thier idol. The group met up with other celebrities and talked to them about life in Germany. The show will broadcast on ZDF television starting in October.

- Another tour bus is on the road - this one carrying Berlin electronic artists Bodi Bill. The band are bringing their spacey beats to fans in Norway and the Netherlands.
