The French and the Americans are already there, and soon Germany also will be promoting its culture in the Gulf region. Renowned museums from Berlin, Munich and Dresden are helping construct a truly global art museum in Dubai. The man spearheading this initiative is Michael Schindhelm. Formerly the head of Berlin's Opera Foundation, he's now the Cultural Director of Dubai's Culture and Arts Authority. An exhibition has been created to show how the Germans are helping the Emirates create a diverse cultural landscape.
