Marko Kralj comes from Croatia and is a surface physicist. As a Humboldt scholar, he's doing research at the Institute Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at Bonn University.
On the nanoscale, Kralj is developing perfectly fitting materials with new properties. In future they could be used to produce even smaller and more powerful processors for computers.
Marko Kralj has other enthusiasms as well: he and his wife Ana, a pharmacist, enjoy taking cycle tours in the countryside around Bonn.
