An exhibition of works by the German sculptor Arno Breker was controversial before it even began. Breker was the favourite sculptor of Adolf Hitler, and he created many monumental works for the Nazis. As a result, no-one has wanted to show his art, and this is the first exhibition dedicated to Breker since the end of the war. The show started last Friday in the East German city of Schwerin and includes seventy works from all periods of his life.
