Once again, US computer giant Apple has made waves with the launch of another new item. The iPad, as it is known, is part computer, part mp3 player, and part e-reader. The company's various products, including the iPhone, are known around the world. But how popular this newest edition to the Apple line-up will be on this side of the Atlantic is still a mystery. It will ship to these shores faster than the iPhone did however, due to a little piece of European technology, its widespread use may be slowed.
