Until twenty years ago, the city of Leipzig was associated first and foremost with Johann Sebastian Bach. But since the events of October 1989, it's almost as well known for the famous Monday Demonstrations that paved the way for the fall of the Berlin Wall. Young artist David Schnell has juxtaposed these two legacies in the 'peace window' he's designed for the St Thomas Church.
