Melting glacier in Switzerland

As glaciers melt they have the potential to release toxins that have been trpped for decades

Now it’s well known that Alpine glaciers are shrinking, and that they are shrinking faster because of climate change. But what exactly are the consequences for the environment? Scientists at Switzerland's Federal Research Laboratory have made an alarming discovery that has our past coming back to haunt us.
