DW-TV LATIN AMERICA

DW-TV LATIN AMERICA is present in Central and South America with a choice of three languages. There are 14 hours of German programming daily, plus eight hours of English and two hours of Spanish-language output.

The news magazine JOURNAL broadcasts in German and English, as well as twice a day with news in Spanish. Also in the Spanish schedule: top documentaries and reportages plus the Cuadriga talk show, in which four journalists discuss the week’s big issue.

DW-TV LATIN AMERICA: magazines focusing on news & current affairs, business & science, entertainment, lifestyle & the arts, auto & sports as well as talk shows, documentaries and reportages – well-researched, well-shot, and well-told.

60 minutes of talk television daily as well as 30 minutes of current affairs magazines and other programs from German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF. Anne Will and Maybrit Illner discuss the hot-button issues with leading politicians. "Markus Lanz," "Beckmann," and "Menschen bei Maischberger" talk to celebrity guests about the private person behind the news.

On the weekend, there’s more focus on kids programming with a half-hour of fun and games for younger viewers, including "Siebenstein" and "Wissen macht Ah!".

The channel can be received on the Intelsat 9 satellite, on cable, or via numerous broadcasting partners.
