Nobrega, Camila

Camila Nobrega: Journalist specialized in sustainability, Camila has worked at O Globo newspaper, part of the leading media communication company in Brazil, for five years. Now, she is the editor of the website Canal Ibase (canalibase.org.br), covering issues related to environment, social justice, Brazilian slums, poverty, solidarity economy, citizenship, among others. She is also finishing her thesis for the Global Master in Development Practice (globalmdp.org), part of a big network leading by Columbia University. Some important journalistic covertures in her career recently: The see ice minimum of the Arctic, during a 20 days expedition with Greenpeace in the North Pole (2012), Rio+20 - The UN Conference on Sustainable Development. Camila was also the Youth Facilitator for the UN debate about Forests during the Rio+20 conference.
