Marius Kahl holds a degree in economics from Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg, Germany, and an M.A. in conflict, security and development from King’s College London in the U.K. He recently joined Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development as desk officer for financial systems development. Previously he worked as a researcher in Bonn and as a technical advisor in South Sudan for the Bonn International Center for Conversion (BICC), focusing mainly on post-conflict transformation in the Republic of South Sudan.
