Originally from Honduras, Pedro Morazán has lived in Germany for more than 30 years. After earning his doctorate in economics, Morazán began working as a research associate at The SÜDWIND Institute for Economics and Ecumenism in Siegburg, Germany, in 1992. He currently focuses mainly on poverty reduction, external debt, the effectiveness of development cooperation through the Millennium Development Goals and the BRICS countries, as well as methods of evaluating development cooperation projects.
