Blank, Esther

Esther Blank has been a journalist for more than 30 years, reporting from Germany, Europe, the Middle East, USA, Australia and the South Pacific. She started her career at Deutsche Welle, later working for Germany’s WDR Radio/TV, ARD Radio, ARTE, HR TV, ZDF TV and Australian network SBS TV. Blank became Deutsche Welle’s representative in Sydney in 1999. She also works as reporter, producer and commentator for German TV, radio, print magazine FOCUS and has written three books. She’s been an international conference organizer and host and has served three times as president of the Foreign Correspondents’ Association of Australia
