Vankalas, Sachin S.

Sachin S. Vankalas works for the Luxembourg Fund Labelling Agency (LuxFLAG), where he is primarily responsible for administering the labeling process of LuxFLAG Microfinance and Environment Label. Prior to joining LuxFLAG, he worked first as a rating analyst for Micro-Credit Ratings International Ltd and then as an investment analyst for responsAbility Social Investments, Switzerland. While working in a rating agency specialized in microfinance and in a social investment firm operating in developing countries and economies in transition, Vankalas had the opportunity to visit a wide range of microfinance institutions across several continents, where he gained extensive experience in the political, social and macroeconomic contexts of various countries.
