Fischer, Lukas-Christian

Lukas-Christian Fischer is the co-founder and managing partner of www.fraisr.com, an online marketplace where people can sell, buy and do good. It was established in 2012. Every purchase on fraisr is connected to a donation for a good cause, such as Amnesty International and Reporters without Borders. In today's world, awareness of environmental and social issues is no longer a niche attitude. It has transformed into a collective, global mindset. But most people still find it difficult to convert awareness and their goodwill for causes into actual financial support. By linking shopping with social causes, fraisr significantly lowers the hurdles for such people to do good. Fischer has a background in PR and advertising, working for leading German agencies for the last ten years. He studied communication, politics and psychology at Freie Universität Berlin (Free University of Berlin).
