Keith Hammonds is founding director of Ashoka’s News & Knowledge initiative, which advances citizenship and strengthens democratic society by identifying and supporting hundreds of social entrepreneurs in the media realm whose innovations that better inform, connect, and engage people around the world. He also is chief operating officer of the Solutions Journalism Network, a new organization created to catalyze credible reporting on solutions to social challenges. Hammonds previously was executive editor at Fast Company magazine.
