Baker, Louise

Louise Baker joined the UNCCD Secretariat in 2011 as the Senior Adviser for Partnerships. She has more than 15 years of global experience working on policy and legislative development, public affairs and advocacy, stakeholder engagement and resource mobilization. She thrives on bringing evidence for action into the public domain on topics such as the ELD Initiative, a global campaign for sustainable land management. Baker's previous assignments include work with the European Parliament and the World Health Organization. She has lived and worked in Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia. She currently resides in Bonn, Germany.
