Salman, Ali

Ali Salman is the founder and director of the Policy Research Institute of Market Economy (PRIME), Pakistan’s only free-market economy think tank. He has worked as a consultant for major international development organizations, government entities and non-profits. He is also the author of Price Controls: Implications for Liberty and Welfare and Discord between Economic Freedom and Social Justice in Islam. Salman writes columns in the Express Tribune, a leading English daily. He has Master's degrees in economics, public policy and business administration. Ali Salman is a visiting fellow at the Institute of Economic Affairs, London, and an alumnus of the International Academy of Leadership, Germany.
