Sugg, Caroline

Caroline Sugg has 15 years’ experience working in strategy, communication and policy in the international development and media sectors. She has particular experience in health communication and has designed and delivered numerous projects since joining BBC Media Action in 2003, working across Asia and Africa.

Much of Sugg’s work focuses on reproductive, maternal, neonatal and child health and she is particularly interested in how mobile communication technologies can enhance health-worker training and transform public access to engaging health information.

Sugg leads the Advisory & Policy Team at BBC Media Action, the BBC’s independently funded international development charity. BBC Media Action works with media and communication to improve public health, governance and resilience in some of the world’s poorest and most fragile countries.
