Didszuweit, Simon

Simon Didszuweit works as a freelance consultant for media development coordination and project development at Deutsche Welle Akademie.

A political scientist by education, Didszuweit is co-author of DW Akademie policy papers on media, development and participation. He contributes to the outlining and strategy of projects and has experience in their implementation, supporting television and radio in Laos and Vietnam.

He was among the organizers of "Forum Media and Development" (FoME) 2011 Symposium in Bonn and a panelist at the 2011 meeting of the EU-AU Working Group on Freedom of Expression and Human Rights in Tunis, both focusing on the impact of digital media on journalism, development and civil society.
