Tecklenburg, Michael

Michael Tecklenburg began his career in journalism in 1983 after completing a university degree in media studies. Basic and advanced journalism training in post-conflict states and the establishment of an international newsroom for Radio Television Afghanistan are among the main focuses of his work. Since the beginning of the Arab Spring, Tecklenburg has been coordinating journalism and media training for managers in Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia. Currently he is involved in coordinating film training projects in Africa and collaborating with institutions including the Berlinale WorldCinemaFund and One Fine Day Films.
