Manager for volunteers and school campaigns, CARE
Thomas Knoll is CARE’s manager for volunteers and school campaigns. Holding a Master’s degree in sociology, he has worked as a research fellow at the University of Saarland and as project coordinator for Rwanda and Romania at the Chamber of Commerce Rhine/Hessen. Seconded to the former German Development Agency DED, Knoll spent two years in Niger as a consultant to local non-governmental organizations. He also served as manager for corporate relations at the University of Tübingen. Knoll currently manages CARE’s network of partner schools and volunteer groups in Germany, aiming to combine education about global development in Germany with support for CARE’s programs abroad.
