Lessenthin, Martin
Spokesman of the Board, International Society for Human Rights, Frankfurt, Germany
Martin Lessenthin, born in 1957, is a political scientist, historian and publicist. Since 2001 he has been spokesman of the board of the Frankfurt-based International Society for Human Rights (ISHR) and as chief editor of the magazine Human Rights. From 1989 to 1998 he was chief editor of the German labor union's newspaper “Deutsche Gewerkschafts-Zeitung” in Stuttgart. Lessenthin has written extensively on human rights, media politics and labor unions.
