Ya-Ha! plays a mix of electropop, hip hop and new wave music. The Munich quartet does it all, from designing its own merchandise to producing their music and videos. Now Ya-Ha! has gone on tour with their debut album.

Die Ärzte are a band with a skewed sense of humor that’s proven to have wide audience appeal. Their new release also shot to the top of the German charts. Our PopXport portrait takes a look at the punk band. We also introduce the Munich band Ya-Ha!, and present the new single by Schmidt, a German singer who is already a success in Britain.

Celebrated in New York: German electro-legends Kraftwerk have given eight concerts in the Museum of Modern Art - and PopXport was there. We also report on the 30th anniversary of punk rock veterans Die Toten Hosen. This edition's music videos are from Cascada, Mandy Capristo and Propaganda.
