Could the monarchy be put on trial?

On Wednesday, a Spanish judge decided to press ahead with corruption charges against the King of Spain's sister, Cristina, and her husband, Inaki Urdangarin. The couple are being investigated for tax fraud and money laundering. Neither has been formally charged but this week's ruling opens the way to an unprecedented criminal trial. Guy Hedgecoe in Madrid explained to Helen Seeney the allegations.
