The club was at the bottom of the league with just nine points and many people asked why he made the move. Reuter had a vision. He wanted to establish Augsburg as a Bundesliga side. Using patience and skill and a knack for good signings - as well as good relations with the rest of the management team - he's achieved much of what he set out to do. Augsburg has grown into one of the most likeable and successful brands in the league.
