Child soldiers' plight in India

An estimated 3,000 children are among various insurgent groups in different parts of India. In northeastern India and the Kashmir province, Maoist rebels and other militants use children in warfare. Recruiting children violates international law, but there's no specific legislation in India that bans the use of child soldiers.
