Central Asia to protect mammals

Large mammal species that migrate across Central Asia face threats of poaching, habitat loss and barriers to migration. Last week 14 Asian countries agreed to the Central Asian Mammals Initiative aimed at conserve species such as the Saiga antelope, Mongolian gazelle, and the Snow leopard and their habitats. DW talks to Christiane Röttger from the UN Convention on Migratory Species.
