Catch me if you can! - At sea with a Canadian iceberg harvester

Ed Kean used to catch fish. Now he hunts and harvests icebergs off the coast of Newfoundland. Kean does good business selling the huge chunks of ice he harvests.

His customers include breweries and distilleries, such as a major Canadian vodka producer. They all want iceberg water because of its purity. The hunting season is short: just June and July. In 2013, he sold one point five million liters of iceberg water. This year the amount could be more, because Canadian scientists are observing an increase in icebergs off the coast of North America this year.
