Brussels Pop-Up Parks

Report: Martin Kübler, BrusselsOctober 2, 2014

Belgian’s capital boasts being one Europe’s greenest city, with more than 25 square meters of green space per resident. But people living in the densely packed inner neighborhoods don't have access to the city's big parks located in the outer suburbs. The lack of greenery has driven some residents to take matters into their own hands, by creating parks out of vacant lots.
